A flowery post

I'm not a big fan of summer and one of the reasons is that pretty much everything withers under the glaring sunlight. Already there are only a few flowers in bloom but I guess that's what spring is for and not summer :-)
The last photo is from our pomegranate tree, most of its flowers are already starting to become tiny pomegranates!

Back to the city

We were gone only a few days but it was fun! The weather was much much colder but since it didn't rain we were able to take some long walks :-) The animals belong to my uncle, he only has a couple of geese along with the chickens but they are so loud! And that kitty managed to get herself locked in a storage room for an entire morning, she started meowing when she heard our voices and we let her out.

Inbetween days

This week went by in a blur, all I remember is embroidering names on Christmas trees!
And now the sunny days are here, still very cold though :-)
I have two projects in my mind: I want to make felt houses with the nephew for Christmas and also make some postcards. I'm taking part in a postcard swap and thought it would be cool if I tried to make them myself. I have some ideas so we'll see how that goes.

In the meantime some photos from our garden: a giant spider web big enough to trap fig leaves, and our mousmoulia (also know as Japanese plum) tree is full of blooms!! Yay :-)
