Special Christmas ornaments

A couple of things that we made for this holiday season that are extra special:
- personalized Christmas trees ornaments, first a custom order with embroidered name and year and then another one with the names in Greek, that was so much fun to make!
- two discounted sets of retro ornaments, these Christmas ornaments have buttons that are one of kind so each set won't be duplicated.

I'm hoping to make an advent calendar tomorrow, it will be my first so we'll see how that goes!

Having fun

Too soon for Christmas?
One of my favorite new designs, these Christmas trees are so much fun to make! I get to pick different colors of tiny felt flags and place them differently each time. That way every single tree is unique and one of a kind :-) It keeps me from getting bored making the same thing over and over again and the result is so much fun!
I also made a green Christmas tree version, with this one I just love the simplicity.

Updated designs

I know it's too soon for Christmas but it's been in my mind for a while and I decided to go for a new design before the holiday season. So the old felt ornaments set has been updated now there are four ornaments, one shaped like a pine cone and one like a gourd added to the two already existing designs. I think now they look even more retro than before! And of course they all have buttons :-)
Also two new color schemes have been added, a black and white and a white and black and I'm hoping to start listing lots in the shop, sets of 8 ornaments that are one of a kind since the buttons we'll use are limited.

Rainbows and hearts

It's only been a few days of 2013 and I'm happy to say I've been feeling very productive lately. After I posted the coin tags I got a lot of positive feedback, so a new project came to my mind! I finished a set of rainbow tags and I must say they look absolutely fantastic, just like colorful candies :-)
And I also finished a set of puffy hearts for Valentine's day! I know it's only been a few days of the new year and too soon to think about Valentine's but I got the idea and simply had to see it thought!

In the Etsy Finds

A big surprise came in the mail today: our retro Christmas ornaments were featured in the Etsy Finds newsletter!! I keep looking at the newsletter, smiling and giggling when I see them pop up, it's such an honor to be featured with so many other wonderful picks :-)
