Monday Moodboard - Orange/Green

OK it finally seems that spring is here, the last few days the sun has been shinning, the temperature has risen and the flowers are blooming. So I made an orange/green combination moodboard, these two colors make me so very happy, hope you like it as well. Fingers crossed the bad weather doesn't come back again :-)

Collecting color: Green for March

Found via Chantal's blog is this monthly challenge hosted by Emily from Good things called Collecting Color. The objective is quite simple, each month represents a color and the participants must curate a collection of their belongings in that color. Sadly I missed the first two months but that's OK, I'm happy to start with green, it's such a happy color :-)
Things that found their way in my green collection: the Bunny Suicides book and a Charles Bukowski one under it, a paper bag from the British natural history museum (it was given to me by a friend filled with goodies), clay houses, felt hearts and home brooch made by me, tea cup and plate from Ikea, little glass fish necklace bought at a local bazaar, green dandelion print from Tanya Bond, one postcard from Ikea the other one from a design walk in Athens and finally the round beer coaster that my sister brought home from Berlin.
So if you want to join in just find your favorite greens from your home, photograph them and post the here!

Monday moodboard - Fresh

The weather is back again to it's usual moodiness, it's been raining all morning and my plans for photographing some new things are rescheduled. A few picks from the european team in green and yellow, fresh colors that make me think of spring and sunny days. The freesias watercolor reminds me of my freesias, I have three flower pots planted and they have sprouted but it will need at least another couple of months before they bloom. I can't wait to see the result, each year I plant the bulbs of various colors without knowing what the end result will be, the pots end up so wonderfully colorful!

Pink

Vacations, the EST challenge and life in general have slowed things up a bit. Now, everything will return to normal and to start I made a new listing in the shop! It's a ring in bright pink and white cotton fabric with green french knots. I love how girly it is, so much different from what I wear but I like it :-)
